Beamafilm was launched in 2012 by Brisbane documentary distributor Antidote Films. The service maintains its massive library of documentary content, but has expanded to include a healthy variety of film and television content. Programming is updated regularly, with new titles each month, and interesting exclusive content to browse.
Whilst Beamafilms doesn’t have compatibility with as wide a range of smart TVs as similar services like Kanopy and Hoopla, it works well on those devices that it supports and is easy to navigate. The ‘Kids+’ option allows parents to customise viewing to limit films over a certain rating.
